Hudson Bay is ice free in the summer, so the polar bears there have a adopted to a kind of walking hibernation. They basically hang out on the beach until the ice freezes in the winter, and then go seal hunting on the ice.

So if the arctic ice starts melting in summer, I'd guess you'll see a big die-off of polar bears, with the survivors changing their habits. And maybe some of the Hudson Bay bears will move north.
