Relatively speaking, earning number is a important parameter for any company. However, the most important thing is so-called " forward statement". If this statement is quite positive and even aggressive, we shall see stock up. Otherwise, stock will be down, no matter how many cents the earning has been over the expected(estimated) one. Recent days, the stock movement of INTC, XLNX, CRUS, CHPS, etc., have demonstrated that. Therefore, I am looking forward to reading/hearing some positive stuff from eraning release/conference call.
