Elroy, I'm going to Canada in a few days. The last time I went I used a Chase Master Card. Their foreign-transaction surcharge was 1%. I just called to see if it had changed. It's now 3%, which is the same as my regular Citibank Master Card. It's too late for me to get a new card now, but I'd like to know for the future. What's the latest on this? Do you know of any banks with low foreign-transaction fees? tia
