EMKR has a solar cell group for satellites, discussed in their annual report I received last week. They have a CRADA with SNL on the solar cell stuff, I think. There was something in the annual report on a CRADA with SNL. One division of EMKR, MODE, makes VCSELs, was a spin-off from Sandia. The NM Governor as well as the city and others want to see a lot more high-tech spin-off from the labs. EMKR was one of the first occupants of the Sandia Technology Park. There is a lot of interaction between the high-tech companies of the southwest and LANL and SNL. JBK
