Pity poor Jack if he bends over in the shower in front of the Alliance Bernstein fund marketer. I'm sure Jack will think everyone buys into the same fund structure. I doubt he will be told otherwise.

None of their Target-Date 2015-2029 funds have been around for a full year.

LTEAX shows a less than full year return of 15.28%.

The investment seeks the highest total return, including capital growth and income, over time consistent with its asset mix. The fund invests in a combination of portfolios of the AllianceBernstein pooling portfolios representing a variety of asset classes and investment styles, the underlying portfolios, in turn, invest in short-duration bonds, fixed-income securities, real estate investment trusts and stocks. The strategies' asset mixes will become more conservative each year until reaching the year approximately fifteen years after the retirement year at which time the asset allocation mix will become static.

Check out the profile where it shows expenses on a $10,000 investment of $7280 after ten years.

LTEVX shows a less than full year gain of 15.69%. Five year expenses on $10,000 of $10,231!!!! Run Jack run!!
