The Art of Choosing Fresh Bread:
Bread is delivered fresh to the stores 5 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. For each of these days there is a different color twist. On Monday it's BLUE, Tuesday-GREEN, Thursday-RED, Friday-WHITE, and Saturday-YELLOW. So on Thursday, you want a Red twist tie, not White which is Friday, almost a week old. This system is easy to remember since the twist colors are in alphabetical order starting with Blue on Monday and ending with Yellow on Saturday.
