Mr. Brian W. Ransom - President, Director
Brian Ransom has amassed more than 17 years experience in the fields of international banking, manufacturing, and financial services. Among numerous other accomplishments, he has been responsible for foreign exchange and interest rate risk control management, management of a $1.5 billion loan portfolio, and the management of a currency-trading portfolio. He has held positions on the boards of two Canadian mutual fund companies, an international fiduciary, as well as software and manufacturing firms. Mr. Ransom has consulted and successfully negotiated for a number of major North American manufacturing companies pursuing manufacturing presences in Europe.
Mr. YuNing Wang - Vice-President, China Operations
YuNing Wang is a Business Development & Marketing Manager specializing in new business development and international import/export. Mr. Wang brings highly-sought skills, experience, and insight to CATHAYONLINE's interests in the Pacific Rim. Mr. Wang has worked for a number of trade and business development organizations in Canada, USA and Asia. His expertise in these areas has also led to consulting for these firms.
Mr. Owen Li - President, Internet Service Provider (ISP) Operations, China, Director of CATHAYONLINE INC.
Owen Li holds a M.Sc in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, Canada. He has over 12 years technical experience in computer communications, more than 7 years management experience in the telecommunications industry, as well as extensive experience as a system administrator, technical architect. Mr. Li has consulted for the University of British Columbia, Canada, BC Research, the Worker's Compensation Board, and ProNet. Owen Li is the President of the CathayOnline ISP project in China: Sichuan CATHAYONLINE Technologies Co. Ltd. and Chengdu Torch Industrial & Commercial General Company. In this capacity, he specializes in technology planning and business development in computers and telecommunications.
Mr. Allan Lai - Chief Engineer, Internet Service Provider (ISP) Operations, China
Allan Lai holds a B.Sc in Computer/Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. He has more than 20 years technical and management experience in computer communications/Internet, has managed a team of 50 staff in a Hong Kong computer firm, and has worked as an IT consultant for corporations such as IBM, Philips, Canadian Pacific and BCHydro. He is currently serving as Chief Engineer for the ISP-EBS project in China, specializing in computer hardware/software and network communications. Mr. Lai's specific responsibilities include system architect design and implementation, internet-related software implementation and large-scale database development.
Mr. Glen Gu - Network Manager, Internet Service Provider (ISP) Operations, China
Glen Gu holds a B.Sc in Computer/Electronic Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He has also accumulated more than 20 years of technical experience in computer systems/networks, including work as a technical manager responsible for the implementation of China's massive Internet project at China Telecom. Mr. Gu is the Network Manager for the CATHAYONLINE ISP-EBS project in China, specializing in computer communications and digital data telecommunications connections.
Mr. Tony Xu - Sales Manager, Internet Service Provider (ISP) Operations, China
Tony Xu has a Bachelor of Commerce from Sichuan University. With more than 6 years experience in the computer/Internet marketing industry, he has honed his skills as sales manager and marketing director at renowned JiaYing Technologies. Mr. Xu is Sales Manager of the CATHAYONLINE ISP-EBS project in China, specializing in Internet marketing analysis as well as Internet sales.
Mr. Ed Lee - Lottery Operations, China
Ed Lee presents more than 10 years of experience in the set-up of numerous, highly successful companies in Hong Kong and China. He has established and managed a trading company with sales exceeding HK $200 million. He has overseen restructuring of a Karaoke enterprise in Shanghai, and was involved in wholesale property and fast food supplies in Vietnam. He has additionally founded an ESL school in Guangdong. Mr. Lee brings extensive, hands-on experience to CATHAYONLINE INC., in its development of Lottery projects in China.
