Saying it is suspect is almost as unreasonably as outright denying it.

Its not some philosophical absolute proof, but its a massively documented historical event, witnessed by Holocaust survivors, by German soldiers and SS, by allied soldiers who found the death camps, and by tons of Nazi documents.

Your reason for suspecting that is wrong amounts to next to nothing. Next to the evidence for it you should need a ton of actual evidence against it to have serious reasons for suspicion that it never happened.

You can criticize the laws that actual prosecute Holocaust denial, I'd even join you in that criticism (but not there is no such law in the US), but that doesn't mean denial is anything but irrational or dishonest, it just isn't something that should result in a criminal prosecution.
