Selling a put is selling some one else the option to make you buy DOCSF at a certain price. There is a premium paid to you the seller for this option based on time value. A couple of months out the premium for PCDOCS has been around 1/2. If the option expires, you keep the premium. Selling puts at 5 (ie so close to book value and much less than acquisition value) seems a no brainer to me.
