I don't know why everyone is so upset, unless its because the DOJ is simply enforcing the existing laws. If you don't like those, than have Sherman Anti Trust repealed. As an investor, you should pray that MSFT gets broken up. Review what happened to JD Rockefeller and Standard when it was broken up. It tripled his net worth because he got shares in all of the spin offs. MSFT will be no different, and those that own the stock will reap huge benifits that will rival if not surpass its past performace. Those that don't own it will have an opportunity when it falls some.
