While there is inflation in fuel prices, bread, and corn for cows and SUVs, you can apparently buy houses and SUVS at far lower prices than two years ago. Since houses and SUVs are such big items of expense, I suspect they counteract fuel prices in the inflation balance. Though consumer price indices are a world of their own, so perhaps SUVs and houses don't count.

I guess interest rates will rise in 2010. <The question is: When will the Fed raise rates?>
