Hardly any oil industry support for Trump

Cruz has won 5 of 6 oil & gas producing states - TX, OK, KS, WY, AK. In LA, Trump and Cruz won an equal number of delegates.

He's bashed the industry on behalf of biofuels and because he associates it with Cruz. Says he'd "grab a chunk" of the Keystone pipeline, whatever that means. It's a private pipeline, what would be the grounds to "grab a chunk" of it? Likely because it's being built by a Canadian company and non-American companies are enemies in his eyes.

Hillary actually has more oil support than Trump, despite her saying terrible things about fracking and offshore development - people believe she's just saying to fend off Sanders - Bill's Presidency was actually friendly to the industry believe it or not. Hillary has gotten $250K from the industry, Cruz $800K.

Trump's gotten $9K from oil linked donors, LESS than Sanders at $15K. Amazing that anyone in the industry would support Sanders, but those numbers show how cool the industry is toward Trump. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/03/oil-industry-donald-trump-hillary-clinton-choice-220947
