Glenn, we have 2 papers in Seattle the Time and the PI. The PI doesn't have a web-site so here's what it said
"Amazon stock hammered amid investor worries. Amazon fell 18 7/16, its biggest % drop since april, wiping out about $17 bil in market cap. The company reported its second-quarter results on Wednesday, saw a 7% jump in revenue growth for the quarter. It was the smallest sales increase in consecutive quaters."
It appears that First Call said "Profitability is further off and the losses are bigger than they anticipated at the beginning of the year".
The good news for the bulls is that only one of the sluts pimps downgraded the stock.;-)
Ps
You were always right, its just that you had bad timing.
