You claimed you have a link showing the General explained that they fell out of readiness, in so many words. Your current link contradicts you since it says they did not say why. This isn't really a discrepancy. Your current link employs the use of the word "specifically," so it is technically accurate. However, anyone thinking that officials did not say "generally" why two battalions are no longer rated at level 1 need only see the quotes I provided to know that officials explained that the numbers changed due to refined evaluation methods. Officials further stated that Iraqi forces in fact have gained in experience and strength in numbers throughout. Your quote from your link fails to report the explanation which WAS given, entirely.
