Yup I really liked Microsoft products until I saw Excel 5.0 and Word 6.0 for the Mac. They were total crap. Excel 5.0 went from a 2MB RAM requirement for Excel 4.0 to 16MB. At the time most Macs were being sold with 16MB at most. Word 6.0 was slightly more economical with memory but went soooo slow even on a PowerMac. Besides it looked like a Windows product. Since then MSFT has done little to improve my impression. Unfortunately we have to use MSFT products for compatibility reasons. I still use Excel 4.0 and Word 5.1 because they are workable products.
