I did not read the article you cite about culture clashes with Chrysler, but in the case of WIND and INTS we are combining two silicon valley cut throat business of software engineers with similar ambitions of trying to grow their business. the incompatibility lies with the two different OS. Perhaps the best of both would show up in some future version with backward compatibility. I have no clue whether that is possible or practical, but it sounded good :)
