David: It must be all that NutraSweet. We are on the same page
as regards Mr. BowTie. I, therefore, fail to understand your point.
BowTie, in my view, deserves the merest crumb for keeping would
be long-term investors away from a country with more volatility
than California fault lines. On the other hand, as I have made
clear in SI posts dating back to January 1997, my surmise is that
this man is, for all intents and purposes, quite daft as regards
investing. Not a nickel of my money would I entrust BowTie to
invest. In any case, your allergic reaction to BowTie is rightly
understood in these quarters. A plausible thesis may be that
the network employs him for comic relief. He certainly is good
for a laugh or two during his frequent TV appearances. In sum,
may I suggest the off knob on the TV set should BowTie again
send your blood pressure reeling.
