Now, if you found something like that on stratfor, you'd have a much better case.

The Soviets were tapped out long before SDI came up. When they started importing wheat from the US in the 1970s, the handwriting was on the wall. 1986 was after the oil price collapse. Are you claiming that Reagan was behind that, also?
