Bobo, it is my understanding that Nokia/Diamond Lane has been using chips from ST Micro for quite a while and that they have not been using ADI/AWRE chips exclusively.

I'm a little confused as to the relationship between ST Micro and Alcatel. See this link.

I'm looking at an older research report (from May, which I have no link to so you will just have to take my word for it) that states that "ST Micro is the exclusive manufacturer of ADSL chips for Alcatel".
It goes on to state that Nokia is a large customer of ST Micro's and that ST Micro will be competing directly with Alcatel as they market new products in Europe with Aware's IP.
