One of my favourite economic markers is shipping "Day Rates". Those rates have been slipping for several months. Actually "slipping" is an understatement.

When ships are not "working" they are "laid up". When they are "laid up", they rust, consequently owners prefer to tie them up in very cold water (to reduce the rusting). Norway is already starting to allocate berths.
