CBS Help Wanted Ad: Experts Needed Immediately
I’m not very good at satire but I am a giver and I really want to help out the gang at CBS.

HELP WANTED: 60 Minutes is now hiring handwriting expert(s) with knowledge of 1970 era typewriters and Microsoft Word 2003.

Extra consideration will be given to those who are brilliant enough to actually compare typed documents to those produced on a word processor. Special consideration will also be given to those who read Jim Romenesko, who claims to give his readers, [A]daily fix of media industry news, commentary, and memos, but was wise enough to skip this story everyone is talking about, giving all of us at CBS a needed break.

Those who read the following blogs will be considered over-qualified and your résumés destroyed.

Power Line

InstaPundit

INDC Journal

Full Spectrum

Hugh Hewitt

Little Green Footballs

Roger Simon

We consider these blogs, and any others that are similar, the new media and they are too quick and accurate with their work. In less than 24 hours, they raised questions that our "experts" missed in six weeks. At CBS we believe there is no possible way this could be done that quickly. They also made us look so bad, that even our cohorts in the old media are ready to throw us under the bus.

Also, those who can spin this and somehow blame the entire SNAFU on Karl Rove will be hired on the spot.
