Big Horn - off the cuff and maybe on a tangent. Today's mail brought a dated news release (Oct. 15) announcing 6 month results ended 08/96. Net earnings of $0.04 ($267K) vs loss of $3.5K year earlier. Cash flow for 6 months was up 626% to $337K ($0.05/share). Production for 6 months was avg. 253 BEOPD vs. 67 year prior. Oct. 15 prod. rate was reported to be 350 boepd. I don't have a position in Big Horn - missed the ride to date on this situation. Approx. 15 months ago had a tele/con. with current president - Reg Greenslade. He's a P.Eng. with prior experience in Sask. with CS Resources. At the time I was researching Bonus Resources, an oil services company. Big Horn was the oil/gas part of Bonus that was spun off to do what they're in the midst of doing. What initially shied me away from buying was that there appeared to have been quite a pile of cheap stock issued to insiders - just goes to show it's easy to miss possible situations. Bonus too has done quite well, including a TSE listing and recent financing. One of the main principals behind Bonus is Walter Dawson who started Computalog.
