most of those 237 "lies" were obvious restatements of official U.S. and international intelligence policy dating back eight years. Any objective or scholarly view would recognize this.

Could you clarify your meaning? When Bush said, "We found the weapons of mass destruction," was that a statement of policy or a statement of fact? Are you saying it was policy to lie? I'm at a loss.
