I don't think you need to worry about that happening, for quite a while. When Value Investors start coming into the market, picking up tech bargains, they will first look at the big caps, the sector leaders. Look at what's happening today. CSCO and EMC and the other well known big caps are bouncing, up a bit. NTAP is flat. This has been the pattern for a while, and it indicates little interest among buyers, even on up days for the market.
Value Investors are calculating the PEs, and concluding that NTAP is: 1) still overvalued and 2) not as safe as EMC.
So, for now, investors who bought the story (and didn't pay attention to valuations), don't need to share this stock with anybody. However, the stock won't stop going down, until those despised Value Investors step in. |
