The DNC is not very military savvy. Locally it has been running an add supporting my state's Democratic U.S. Senate candidate, but they are calling him a Vietnam combat veteran despite the fact that he was an intelligence officer who never saw combat. The guy never claimed to have combat experience and asked them to remove the add, but I see it's still running.
