Drudge is reporting that that the DNC is going to launch a fresh attack on Bush's guard duty.


If true, I'm sure Karl Rove is happy. Every minute of the Kerry campaign should be devoted to making Kerry look presidential, not making claims about what Bush did or didn't do 30 years ago.

People might change their vote based on what they think of President Bush' actions in the last three years, but nobody's going to care about 30 years ago. The Republicans couldn't get any traction out of Whitewater either (pre-Monica), because the public sensibly gives Presidents an amnesty on pre-Presidential actions, unless they can be shown to be serious crimes. Missing a few drill meetings hardly qualifies.
