Joe, Thanks for posting Malkiel's views on oil prices. Seems like it can be anything you say it is. On one hand but on the other hand.... BTW, do you agree with Malkiel's views on the futility of stock picking and market timing? He seems to think they are pretty much a waste of time and the market is pretty much as described in his book A Random Walk Down Wall Street. He may be right but on the other hand buy and hold hasn't proven successful over the past ten years either.
