On MoneyTalk, we still hear Bob recommending GLD as the best way to own Gold if one wants to hold gold (implying that maybe Bob wouldn't own it). Of course if one buys the 1 TROZ physical Gold Bullion coins like Krugerands, MapleLeafs..., there's storage costs (ie. Safe Deposit Box Fees) and possible Sales Tax on such purchases. If policies continue on their current destructive path (closing coal mines through issued regualations, lower exploration for oil onshore and offshore through newly created regulatory hurdles, failure of issue needed permits and approvals, removal of oil industry tax benefits that fund energy exploration, newly issued mandates designed to increase the price of necessities in order to advance idiological agendas of politicians, ...; could we be in for a repeat of the history of the 1930's when the U.S. government confiscated privately held gold? moneynews.com How would investors get around such an onerous government act now that foreign account holdings are so thoroughly reported under new IRS rules for reporting overseas accounts (ie.
