Here is a clip from something I'd said recently to someone on SI, of course it is just my view... " The word I'm getting on Alcatel is they are pouring money into the US market in attempts to get the early lead and are blowing their own horn more than anyone. The only real competition so far in the way of ADSL G.lite chips has been ADI. Lucent is just now getting theirs out to the market and Infinion, STMicro along with NEC are just now beginning to produce product. My opinion at this time is we are just now on the first lap of a multi lap race and there is a long way yet to go."
