Your post points out something essential, X. There are a whole bunch of posters with whom I do not agree with on most issues, but for whom I have developed real feelings based on their excellent musical recommendations, their desire to establish some kind of relationship with me, their beautiful writing styles, or whatever. Those people I definitely would never put on Ignore, because on some level we have established mutual respect.

The people I might put on Ignore simply have very little to say, and say it in a disagreeable or boring way, as well.

Saving TONS of time is a real positive.
