CJ shows debt does not equal future obligations for liberals:

That isn't current debt, but future obligations.

Outside of little liberal minds, future obligations are the definition of debt.

Perhaps in his mind, debt is what you have to pay right now, but the things you'll have to pay in future years ... that's not debt.

Given that a country has taxing authority, it does have ways to pay those obligations when they come due. It can even change the terms of those obligations if need be.

The "taxing authority" language means hey, they can always just confiscate wealth so no worries about that fictitious "debt." Hey, we could confiscate the wealth of the people we owe the debts, er obligations to, use that to pay the obligations ... ha ha. And "change the terms of those obligations" means we can just welsh on the debt so it's nortreally debt ... ha ha.
