<<My cybercottage is not in the woods, but by the sea. There is something about the push and pull of the water against the land that reminds me of love and life.>>
Beautifully put, Graystone. As a sea-driven Pisces, I love the pull of the water against the land, as well. There is a debate in our family, however, since my husband and daughter love the forest, and flowers. Many ocean-front environments are harsh on flowers. When we lived on an island the beach was in front of our house, and the forest was in back, with flowers and blackberry bushes in abundance. This seems like a dream now, however, after being gone from it for twelve years.
We are all just fine. My daughter is doing tenth grade on an Internet private school, the 3D variety having been a disappointment to her. My stocks are well poised for explosions as loud and dramatic as the New Year's fireworks against the night sky, and we are all debating whether we would rather live in America or Ireland, a debate that has been raging unresolved for several years.
When does your oldest become an adolescent, Graystone? It is a very different experience than one can imagine, really. |
