They were finding diamonds in those pans like once an hour. Angolan ones. 5 carats, 15 carats blue ones, peach ones, deep yellow. Every so often one of the girls would find one and scream or swoon.

But De Beers cared not. They told me to leave as I am so ridiculously good looking none of the women could concentrate on their work. And since I resemble Kris Kristofferson strongly they kept asking me for my autograph.
