More on NIKKEI plunge from Bloomberg: Tokyo, Sept. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese stocks plunged, with the broad Topix index on course for its worst two-day decline in six years. The Nikkei 225 tumbled 608.90, or 3.5 percent, to 16,714.70, below 17,000 for the first time since June 15.
