Roger, I'm glad Brock management are not interested in promoting the stock price. I totally agree that it's best to let the company's performance speak for itself.

But I think the company could perhaps promote itself a bit more vigorously to customers and potential customers. The Siebel website says to potential customers that Siebel aims to be the leader in its market. I think especially if you are selling to salesmen, it doesn't hurt to make blatant claims about being the best (or at least wanting to be the best).

One small detail that puzzles me is why they left the "k" out of the web address (www.broc.com). Nobody else seems to be using www.brock.com. The first reaction from somebody I work with was "Couldn't they afford the K?"

Like yourself, I'm mostly a technical guy. But it seems most customers choose the product that is promoted best, NOT the best product.
