One of the main stream sources, maybe USA Today, noted that, if the document had been kept in a file for thirty years, it would NOT look like it had been photocopied over and over again.

I have news for anyone "anal" enough to look at dots - the same peculiar dot pattern can be found over and over again on the same document. Just what would happen if you photocopied, put back on the same glass, and repeated. The little "dots" are from dirt specks on the glass, and this particular group is very distinctive.

I think it was the retired FBI doc examiners who pointed this out, FBI notices stuff like this.
