david: you mentioned a press release, have a copy? I've not heard any news from the company lately so called them this am to obtain some scoop. Apparently auction begins 4/1/97 and current 10Qs are under construction. Does CDRD have an active website? I did run across a site with CDRD address, mgmt info, and phone #, but no real news as to what's going on. I agree with you that the opportunity is huge, but I also see significant barriers, mainly financial but also technological and market development. Fortunately the Chairman/CEO has been successful building a similar business from scratch (cellular). Don't count the competition out though, SKYC is backed by none other than Hughes & AT&T which may bid up prices for the licenses.
