Paul,

I seriously think that you have gone over the edge. If Blair and Clinton have decided to make Y2K a political issue, then I would have to say that both are smoking and not inhaling. This is a job for the computer people and not the government who have already established the credentials in the department of incompetancy.

I think Washington has gone off the far end of the pier with their stupid inititives. First we have Starr and the right trying to pursue Clinton and all his former girlfriends and acquaintances for the last 50 years into the oval office and oval bathroom on matters which the statute of limitations long ago expired for their own nefarious political purposes. Second you have the justice department trying to get MSFT to distribute and market its competitors products. Now, we have politicians entering the Y2K arena with their "for sale politics". Reno should have resigned after her first disaster-Waco.

I talked to an insurance medical guy last week. Guess which city in the USA has the highest incidence of cocaine usage...................

You got it! Washington D.C. ! Our tax dollars, hard at work late at night. No wonder there is so much insanity coming out of the center of US power.

Seriously, Paul the companies Y2K software fixes are not rocket science and the companies that can not manage the Y2K transition do not deserve to be in business. the politicians has no legitimate place in this matter.

JMHO......
