[06-29-99] "iToaster Arriving Soon" Microworkz will release the iToaster, a $199 computer, on July 1. The low-priced machine will feature a 266 MHz processor, a 2.1 gigabyte hard drive and 32 megabytes of memory. It will not feature a Microsoft operating system; instead it will use the BeOS operating system with a custom-built interface. iToaster will not have CD or diskette slots either, and Internet users will only be able to use a pre-arranged Microworkz Internet account.
