Wow, F16's are down to 2.4 million.

Last I knew, they still sold for over $12 million. Love the way technology advances.

But, why should we waste our money supporting such big ticket military items anyway. How about that $1 billion B-1 bombers, that have to have a $26,000 paint job everytime we take them out of the hanger.

It seems to me we are already helping the US with this foriegn aid money. Most of that money that goes to the DEA and ATF gets souped up in beaucracy, so we are hiring more low pay ($20/hour) goverment workers with it.

Now, I don't like trickle down economics anymore than the next liberatarian. But, in the case of Mexico, doesn't it make sense to start building up their high income sector.

As we do this, it will create more middle income jobs at fast food joints, hair salons, and shopping malls. This is because of the peoples close association with America, they all want to be like the American's and that is how we live.

And the best part is, the more jobs we create in Mexico, the fewer illegals we get here. Then we don't have to ship them back over the border every third week. And from Illinois, they would have had to fly them, but it would have been coach.
