That's exactly my question. Reasonable precautions should always be taken- especially when they are so cost effective. The nations business leaders should be up in arms! Think of the loss of production a full scale epidemic could have! Why the effects on the stock market alone should make all those titans of industry quake in their boots.

I am more concerned about the human cost of an epidemic, myself. I don't know what is wrong with the human race. I doubt we can fix it easily- but this one problem we can fix.
