Hi Steve,

I use the daily and weekly charts of www.quote.com.
I aslo use the charts of www.lombard.com
At quote.com, I use a 50 day Exponential moving avg with
a time span of 300 days, and a 40 week exp moving avg with a
timespan of 300 weeks.
I only buy stocks that are above their 40 week moving avg and
I usually sell when they penetrate their 50 day moving avg on VOLUME.
Usually, I also only buy a stock when it hits a 52 week high!
That is when I 1st bot GST last year at around 7 3/8. However,
I lost a few hundred bucks twice as GST kept voilating its 50 day
avg. Hopefully, this time around (3rd time!) should be the charm.
I would recommend that you to read these 3 books on Tech analysis.

1) The technical analysis of stock trends, by Edwards and Magee
(This is probably the BEST book on tech analysis).
and
2) How to make money in Bull and Bear mkts by Stan Weinstein
3) How to make money in stocks by William O'Neal
(Founder of Investors Biz daily)

Btw, If you know any good books on tech analysis or investing
let me know :-))

Cheers
