Quadrax Corporation Responds To Preliminary
Injunction

Company Will Continue To Manufacture And Sell Hockey Sticks

PORTSMOUTH, R.I., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Quadrax Corp responded today to the
preliminary injunction granted to Advanced Pultrusion Technologies Ltd. and its subsidiary
company, Power Stick Manufacturing, for the return of a pultrusion machine. If Advanced
Pultrusion seeks to remove the equipment, they must first post a $200,000 bond collateralized by
personal assets. Quadrax stated that it will continue to manufacture and sell hockey sticks with, or
without, Advanced Pultrusion's machine since the technology is readily available from other
manufacturers of pultrusion equipment.

The outcome of a lawsuit will determine ownership of the machine. Quadrax believes that the
machine was purchased in a bonafide transaction. The Company also stated that the injunction has
no bearing on its operations.

Quadrax Corporation produces thermoplastic composite materials using its proprietary fabrication
and manufacturing processes for a wide range of high-performance commercial and consumer
