To all, The Simula shareholders meeting was today at the conference center at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix. They are growing and since they are making money and the prospects very, very good for the future, it went smoothly. Saw a video of their products. Did you know that they make bicycle frames and bows (as in bows and arrows).
They are made from a composite and have been getting good reviews.
All went well until the questions. There were questions about the stock drop and the products. One question was about the news 6 weeks ago about an AMERICAN car maker putting Simula head impact air bags in the cars. CEO said he doesn't want to tell which car maker it was. He didn't really want to talk about it. He is waiting for the car maker to announce it.

They did not give projections for the earnings per share in 1996 but from what I was hearing, it is going to be as good or probably better.

I asked, if the ballistic windshield is or will be sold at Checker Auto or QVC. He didn't think it was a good idea. I still do. Imagine all the drug dealers who would like bullet proof windows! These windows can be installed in 20 minutes.

They also have a 70 mill backlog of orders.

When the meeting was over a broker from a large brokerage (can't rem which one) who was covering Simula for the brokerage turned to us and said,"Look for good things in September." We will see.
