ON large trades. Perhaps the common beleif that an upward move follows a large cross has become self fulfilling. I have often witnessed a cross on they CDNX or TSE where the cross was even announced in a NR and then the volume and price pick up almost as if that becomes an automatic buy signal to some people. I think a stock goes up more pften than it goes down after a lsrge spike but buying based on that solely ??????? sell if everyone else is then I suppose it might be an interesting straategy.
