Silver Article (3/14/02): My favorite silver company, and one of the few survivors of the bear market, is Pan American Silver (PAAS:Nasdaq - news - commentary - research - analysis). In the interest of full disclosure, I am a director of Pan American Silver. I own the stock and my fund owns the stock (its only long position). Like all mining stocks, it's had a very good run recently. Please be clear about this: I am not advocating that people buy Pan American or any other metal stock, just stating the case and disclosing my positions.
