I agree. They'll take such a position. The other side will counter. It will go back and forth. I would only consider the details of the trials to be vital if the financials of the company had already been so adversely affected that the company was and looked trashed, but the company is doing fine. They have good sales, public opinion, and employee enthusiasm. The court cases will generate lots of distracting press releases, but they don't change the fact that the restaurants are good, making money, and that lots of it is flowing to the bottom line. If the misdeeds were extreme enough to affect the earnings, then resolving the issue will produce a commensurate increase later. That's more of a reason to buy, not a reason to sell.
