I don't know of any specific reason for the recent surge. However, they turned out stellar earnings last quarter, and have signed a bunch of contracts so far this year, so my guess is that the run-up is in anticipation of more stellar earnings for this quarter (at least, so I hope....). IMO, they're in a great biz (telco billing systems), which at the moment is experiencing explosive growth (thanks to global telecom deregulation). However, there aren't too many of us following it here on SI.... so all I know is from the trade press... no juicy rumours :)
