Andrew supplies coax and connectors to most of the major players, including AT&T. We have a truck at Andrew's plant today, picking up materials for a PCS site.
The last I heard, this Summer, they were running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on production. The PCS players buy by the truckload and get a great discount. Andrew has top-of-the-line coax and connectors.
If PCS, paging, SMR, etc. slow down, Andrew may have an inventory backlog. However, they have a good market overseas. You might want to check on the reselling deal they have with Tessco (don't remember their ticker number). They had a bit of a war this summer, and the reselling deal will end 12/96. |
