Do you follow PCS? Nextel could be the first seamless pcs system
in the country if they wanted to be. They have a head start. They
don't have to stay with dispatch.

McCaw tried to bid in the pcs auctions, said price was too high.
Now he's in nextel to the tune of 1.1 billion. Why? Just wasting
his time? Maybe this his cheap way to return to cellular. (wish a
billion was cheap to me).

FCC rule changes say smr can compete in cellular and pcs. The
fcc has a lot of power, how did that happen?

Smr is much cheaper to build out and they have more than enough
bandwidth.

Nextel will probably do very well, lets hope the stock holders don't
get the shaft.
